Korea's rapid economic development

A U.S. IT media, Wired, has connected tens of satellite pictures from 1992 to 2010, and has shown a picture that shows the night view of the world to show how the world changes.

In the picture, we can see that lights are gradually becoming brighter over time. Wider has especially focused on China, which shows rapid economic development.

Another attractive point other than the more and more brightening China is the changes on the Korean Peninsula. While the region around Seoul and Gyeongi Province is becoming brighter and brighter, that in 2010 almost all regions of South Korea is enlightened, there has been absolutely no change in North Korea with not a single point of light in the entire country for over 20 years, showing how exclusive Pyeongyang is.

With just a single picture we can see how North Korea has undermined economic development, driven by the top class's greed. It is a shame to see how seriously North Korea has been isolated in the dark from the rest of the world for more than 2 decades.
